Music News: There will be a Jam Session at Seventy7 Bar on Sunday 30th June from 8pm till whenever the music or beer runs out. Many of the musicians have played together before either as members of DramBand the famous wild rovers of Celtic/Irish/Scottish folk music, and with other musos who drop by for a strum and a sing along. Customers are also welcome to join in with the singing, better if they know the words of course (no names mentioned!) or at least the chorus. The songs range from old folk favourites to classic folk based pop and even Country & Western songs. But who knows as there is not a fixed playlist. The music is live and unplugged and best accompanied by a glass or two of beer or wine drunk in pubs the way it was meant to be for centuries. We will offer our usual Happy Hour promotions even on this event night and have some new cocktails available too, see our new menu or ask the barman what he is mixing.

There will be a different musical line up this time and if you fancy playing then bring yourself and your instrument and we’ll try and work you in somewhere.
